About TheCurrent Open Role Roy FossAurora Chrysler is looking for a Controller to lead our financial operationsand mentor our accounting team. Using your CPA and Reynolds and Reynolds DMSexpertise, you will manage the full accounting cycle and ensure strictcompliance with Stellantis reporting standards. As a strategic partner to ourmanagement team, youll oversee internal controls, safeguard assets, andprovide the financial insights necessary to drive our business forward. WhatWe're Looking For Overseedaily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, dealposting, payroll, and inventory control. UtilizeReynolds software to maintain financial records and reporting Leadand mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency infinancial operations. Managemonth-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accuratereporting. Prepareand analyze financial statements and financial reports. Ensurecompliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and Chrysler Canadareporting standards. Leadand mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency infinancial operations. Managemonth-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accuratereporting. Developand implement internal controls and financial policies to safeguarddealership assets. Collaboratewith department managers to provide financial insights that supportbusiness decisions. Workclosely with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions. Overseebank reconciliations, floorplan management, and cash flow monitoring. Ensuretimely and accurate submission of government filings, payroll remittances,and HST/GST returns. WhatYou'll Bring Designationpreferred: CA, CPA Provenexperience as a Controller in an automotive dealership. Familiaritywith OEM financial reporting requirements and manufacturer incentiveprograms. Proficiencyin Reynolds software for accounting and financial reporting. Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel with the ability to use basic formulas and functionssuch as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF, and conditional formatting Abilityto work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
