Overview WildBrain Studios is looking for a Senior Animator to join our team! Reporting to the Producer, in this role you'll be responsible for providing the final polish on each scene before it goes out the door. We're looking for animators who can really punch up the quality of animation on this incredible production and truly capture that feeling of nostalgia with these wellloved characters. This is the perfect position for someone who loves to problemsolve and use their creativity to improve the quality level in each scene. Responsibilities & Qualifications What Youll Do Consistently complete complex and advanced assigned tasks on time, with attention to detail and minimal oversight. Adhere to the shows style guidelines, estimate completion dates for assigned tasks, and provide input on workflow and tools testing. May contribute to the creation of style guides and libraries while show style is established. Report to the Animation Supervisors and Animation Director to create high quality 2D Harmony animation. Collaborate with other animators and supervisors to identify and solve problems, both technically and artistically. Apply direction and guidance given to enhance work and performance, and mentor team members. What Youll Bring Prior 2D animation experience. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced, collaborative environment. Advanced professional communication and timemanagement skills. Advanced understanding of animation principles acting, staging, posing, weight, timing and storytelling as well as staying on model. Advanced proficiency using Toon Boom Harmony. Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team. Candidates are paid within the range posted, but their exact pay will vary based on the level, responsibilities and expectations of the role. We also take into consideration the experience and skills that individual brings, with consideration of our internal equity. Pay Range $1325 - $1600 CAD per week based on a 40hour work week.
