Please note that the Pay range for this role is between $90,0000 $110,000 annually, with final compensation determined by skills, experience, and role requirementsWhat matters to usKnowledge and Skills:Strong negotiation skills.Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years procurement and supply chain experience, preferably in the construction industry.Experience in construction materials sourcing, subcontractor management, and project-based procurement.Understanding of construction contracts, BOQs, specifications, and project schedules.Experience with procurement systems/software solutions.Professional certification in procurement preferred.STRABAG - More than just a construction companyYour contribution to our companyJob Summary: The Procurement and Supply Chain Assistant Manager is responsible for managing procurement, sourcing, and supply chain activities for construction projects, ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services. The role focuses on cost control, supplier and subcontractor management, logistics coordination, and compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including RFPs, tendering, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and award.Source and prequalify suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers in line with company standards.Coordinate material planning and delivery schedules to support construction timelines and avoid site delays.Oversee logistics, warehousing, and site storage to minimize material losses, damages, and shortages.Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and planners to align procurement schedules with construction programs.Drive cost optimization through strategic sourcing and framework agreements.Support the establishment of KPIs for supplier performance and support project cost reporting in collaboration with commercial and finance teams.Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.Coordinate the evaluation of supplier and subcontractor performance on safety, quality, delivery, and commercial terms.Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks, including market volatility and supply disruptions.Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and contract governance.Maintain accurate procurement documentation, approvals, and audit trails.What you stand to gainWe stand for respect, partnership, and sustainability, creating a work environment that promotes safety, health, and development.
