As a national leader in the supply of smallwares and equipment, United Trimen is looking for a Project Manager to support the maintenance and growth of projects based business. Based at our Head office at United Trimen Toronto, this position will report to the Sales Supervisor.The position requires one to plan, execute, and finalize projects and adhere to strict deadlines and approved budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan, as well as a passion and vision to be part of the companys long term growth.LocationThe successful candidate will be required to travel to the North York office four days per week.The salary range for this position is $75 000 - $95 000Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teamsManage projects from start to finish in alignment with business goalsDefine project scope, goals, timelines, resources, and budgetsPlan, schedule, and track project milestones and deliverablesCommunicate expectations and provide regular status updates to stakeholdersIdentify, manage, and resolve risks, issues, and scope changesCoordinate resources and negotiate support with internal departments as neededLead, coach, and motivate project teams and contractorsMonitor performance and ensure accountabilityConduct post-project reviews and implement best practicesRepresent United Trimen professionally in all internal and external interactionsQualificationsAbility to review and disseminate info from blueprints and CAD drawingsAbility to troubleshoot manufacturing complexities and resolve issuesVersed in various construction methods and food service related codesAbility to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.Demonstrated Sales (inside or outside) and/or Customer Care experience.Knowledge of restaurant equipment (prior foodservice experience is an asset)Effective communication in an open and direct manner; conveys information clearly and concisely, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong listening skills; Understand and reflect accurately on the message.Team player; actively participates to create and execute on team goals.We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for the next stage will be contacted.
