Job Description Location: Truro, NS Term: Seasonal (Early April Start | Approx. 810 Weeks) We are seeking a Seasonal Office Administrator to support our Truro team during our busy spring season. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, customer focused, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same. Responsibilities Providing friendly, professional customer service both in person and over the phone, including handling inquiries, creating sales orders, and supporting front counter sales. Working closely with the sales team to process orders in a timely and accurate manner. Completing a variety of administrative tasks such as reporting, filing, certification collection, and asset inventory tracking. Managing electronic inventory functions including cycle counts, production reports, and year end tasks. Supporting customer account functions such as payment processing, account inquiries, and credit policy adherence. Performing data entry including budget sensitive entries, weekly inputs, and period end reconciliations. Generating purchase orders and reconciling payable invoices. Providing support and communication across Operations, Finance, HR, and Management. Qualifications Experience delivering exceptional customer service. Willingness to work extended hours during peak spring and fall seasons. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. A team oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software platforms. Knowledge of agronomy is an asset (not required). Proficiency in spoken and written English. About Us Founded in 1882, J.D.
