The role collaborates with Digital divisional stakeholders to ensure that the Automation solution designs and developments reduce manual efforts, increase speed to release and reduce mundane efforts..**YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME**Reporting to the Sr Manager Digital Solution Testing, you will be empowered to:* Develops and deploys proof of concepts, prototypes and evaluates opportunities to leverage agile methodologies and tools* Develops and maintains code and configuration repositories to ensure code is centrally monitored/managed.* Develops automation scripts for frameworks following data driven object orientated or behavior driven programming methodology.* Provides automation support to ensure that automation execution functions are highly available for stakeholders.* Collaborates with Digital Engineering & Operations and product teams for intake and maintenance automation frameworks and test scripts.* Provides technical operational expertise for creation, utilization and execution of test plan; implements additions and changes as planned to meet project timelines.* Prepares documentation and other relevant information of developed automation solutions to ensure knowledge transfer between team members, visibility into coverage and overall solution effectiveness.* Provides feedback and actively develops automation framework components for use with regards to automation execution.* Actively contributes to code review processes to ensure Automation governance and application of standards.* Provides technical feedback regarding industry standards relating to CICD implementation of test automation as well as quality control practices in agile methodologies.* Have knowledge of the conception that Test automation is a quality gate for application release.* Under guidance, develops Mobile Automation framework using industry renowned frameworks and multi thread programs to execute on parallel browsers and apps.**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME***Education & Experience:** Post-secondary degree, preferably in an information system, application and or automation development, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience* Five (5) years progressive experience in medium to large Technology environments. Three (3) to five (5) years experience in Automation Development*Relevant Skills:** Programming Languages Java / Python / Kotlin* API, WebUI, Mobile, Thick UI Technologies* IT.
