We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Operations Team Member to join our close-knit Care Center team. Reporting to the Operations Care Center Manager, this role is essential in ensuring that every pet entrusted to us is handled with the highest level of care, professionalism, and excellence. What Youll Do As an Operations Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and service. Your responsibilities will include: Operating the retort and supporting daily cremation processes with precision and respect Creating and packaging paw prints and memorial keepsakes Engraving plaques and memorial items Performing quality control to ensure accuracy and excellence Processing and packaging cremated remains with compassion and attention to detail Monitoring equipment to ensure proper operation and submitting maintenance requests as needed Maintaining daily cremation goals with a strong focus on dignity and care Cleaning and maintaining cremation equipment, including processing machinery Performing housekeeping duties (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting) to ensure a safe and clean workspace Following all OSHA and safety protocols to protect yourself and your team Supporting additional tasks as needed to help the team succeed Every task you perform directly contributes to providing comfort and closure to grieving families. What You Bring Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent At least 12 months of experience in a service-related industry Valid drivers license Skills & Qualities A genuinepassion for pets; caring, patient, kind, and empathetic Strong customer focus with a commitment to quality, safety, and ethical standards Quick thinking and effective problem-solving skills A collaborative team player who is flexible and adaptable Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset Strong verbal communication skills Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines Ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and pet parents Comfort working both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment Working Environment This is a hands-on, physically active role in a care center setting.
