La Cit universitaire francophone is seeking an exceptional bilingual relationship builder, recruiter and content creator to join our team as our next Manager, Recruitment & Public Relations. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the visibility and reputation of French-language and bilingual programs across Saskatchewan and beyond. Youll have the chance to engage directly with youth, families, educators, and communities across the province. Additionally, youll represent the University of Regina in francophone media, community events, and recruitment networks. Your primary focus will be on driving growth in high-impact programs such as Bilingual Nursing, Social Work, Le Bac, French & Francophone Studies, Graduate Studies, and more. The Manager, Recruitment and Public Relations will lead recruitment activities across the province to attract students to La Cit. Their key responsibilities include conducting research and competitive analysis, identifying important partners, and engaging with stakeholders such as alumni, school boards, and community organizations. The incumbent will collaborate with relevant parties to develop and maintain expertise in educational systems, accurately identifying and assessing candidates for admission, and implementing and evaluating recruitment activities. They will also work with the University of Regina recruitment team to identify areas of collaboration for mutual success. Public relations and marketing are crucial aspects of recruitment. The Manager, Recruitment and Public Relations will create effective event marketing and public relations materials to promote and support La Cit. They must stay updated on La Cits and Universitys policies and directions, as well as trends in recruitment, marketing, social media, content creation, and public relations. This ensures that marketing strategies and tools are up-to-date and effectively convey messages across all platforms. The incumbent will manage La Cits social media platforms, including developing a content strategy and digital media schedule to maintain and expand La Cits online presence and engagement. They will execute strategies to increase visibility and followers across all platforms. The incumbent will work closely with the University Communications and Marketing (UCM) team to ensure consistent branding and identify shared areas of interest. What Youll Do: Recruitment Strategy & Outreach (Local + International) Design and execute innovative strategies to attract francophone and francophile learners across Saskatchewan and international markets. Serve as the main liaison for immersion schools, CEF schools, guidance counsellors, and international education consultants. Public Relations, Branding & Digital Presence Lead all French and English content creation for La Cits website, social media, press releases, campaigns, and marketing materials. Develop storytelling that highlights student success, faculty research, community partnerships, and program excellence. Oversee La Cits social media strategy to grow visibility and engagement. Strategic Partnerships & Media Relations Build strong relationships with U of R Communications & Marketing (UCM) and central recruitment units. Manage media inquiries from francophone media outlets, which are frequent, high-profile, and often sensitive in a minority-language context. Serve as the face of La Cit during community and recruitment events. Data, Planning & Administration Use data to refine recruitment targeting, improve conversion rates, and measure campaign effectiveness. Manage recruitment and marketing budgets; oversee contracts with national and international education consultants. Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment, marketing, communications, or related roles. Bilingual (French and English) A combination of education and experience may be considered. Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role: Capable of producing polished, compelling content in both Canadian official languages. Skilled in adapting tone for youth, parents, community leaders, senior administrators, and media. Confident engaging with diverse cultural backgrounds, newcomer populations, and rural communities. Comfortable presenting to small groups, large audiences, and live media. Able to design and execute recruitment and PR strategies and execute them independently. Savvy in social media, video, photography, and digital storytelling. Experienced in content analytics, CRM systems, or enrolment platforms. Passionate about supporting minority-language communities and increasing access to postsecondary education. Demonstrated experience creating bilingual digital content and managing media relations.
