Location:Regina,SK Number of Positions: 1 Salary:$33.33- $49.07 (depends on education and experience) Type of Position: Permanent Full-Time Closing Date:03/13/2026 POSITION OVERVIEW Responsible for technical assessment, administrative support, customer and vendor contact for SaskTel Vehicle Managers and fleet users in the operation, maintenance, and management of vehicles and equipment. TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Not all inclusive or applicable to all assignments) 1. Maintains a high quality vehicle/equipment condition byperforming all duties in the heavy duty/ motor vehicle trades (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, welding). 2. Assigns and schedules work to public service vendors and ensuresquality workmanship. 3. Investigates mechanical condition of vehicles/equipment by on-site inspection and by utilizing SAP. 4. Develops and maintains a satisfactory working relationship betweenSaskTel and public vendors/suppliers. 5. Researches and provides information dealing with refurbishing,repairs, modification, outfitting and proto-typing of new vehicles. Assembles, evaluates and verifies information for tenders. 6. Provides written procedures on service, repair,and operations of vehicle/equipment. Provides support for accident investigations and other programs as requested. 7. Prepares documentation and preparation necessary for rotation and/or disposal of vehicles/equipment leased/owned. 8. Researches, assembles and instructs construction equipment operatortraining courses on all specialized vehicles/equipment. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Successful completion of 2 of the following InterprovincialJourneyperson Certification programs: a) Motor Vehicle Mechanical Repair (M.V.M.R.) or Automotive ServiceTechnician (A.S.T.) b) Truck and Transport Mechanic c) Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Agricultural EquipmentTechnician 2. General knowledge of hydraulics and welding. 3. Ability to interpret flat rate manuals. 4. Ability to interpret Highway Traffic Acts. 5. Good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively withothers. 6. Ability to assign work and instruct others. 7. Good planning and organizing skills. 8. Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications. 9.
