The Company: DB Perks & Associates Ltd., operating as Commercial Aquatic Supplies, is 100% Canadian owned and operated. We supply goods to public pools throughout Canada. We ship a wide range of products such as water testing kits, pool chemistry controllers, cleaning & maintenance supplies, chemicals, filter media, racing lanes, lifeguard chairs, and large foam toys. Our location is in North Vancouver near second narrows bridge, please be sure you can reliably commute to North Vancouver Monday to Friday. Warehouse Position - Full Time The duties are primarily shipping and receiving goods. Key Responsibilities: Picking, staging, and packing orders, working with sales people to ensure correct products are shipped out. Checking orders for accuracy. It is extremely important that all orders are pulled and shipped accurately. Successful candidate is able to pay attention to details and ensure their work is correct and precise. Using a computer to generate Bill of Lading Coordinating with Logistic companies via email and phone calls. Receiving goods, ensuring accuracy against packing slip Labeling products & stocking shelves Daily warehouse cleaning, tidy & maintenance Duties assigned by warehouse manager -Ensuring you effectively & professionally communicate with our established logistics companies and customers as needed. Preferred Skills and Assets: Experience in a pick & pack warehouse an asset but not required Knowledge of warehouse procedures including shipping & receiving an asset but not required You demonstrate an aptitude in basic writing and mathematics to complete any required paperwork accurately and legibly Experience using computers Ability to lift upwards of 55lbs consistently through out the day, and up to 75lbs on occasion Keen attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent and accurate work Valid Forklift certificate is an asset, but not required, we will train and provide certification through a 3rd party accredited forklift company. Salary range depending on experience $42,000.00 to $46,000.00 Benefits Plan after 3 months Hours Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm, 1 hour lunch. Must be a non - smoker Successful applicants will be required to pass a background check which includes a criminal record check, a reference check, a general previous employment verification, and confirmation of high school (or equivalent credential) completion.
