Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. As an Owner Operator, you will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries for our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight over designated routes Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to ensure optimal operation Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety protocols Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit Requirements Valid commercial driver''s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in freight transportation, heavy equipment operation, or related fields Proficiency with forklift operation and automotive repair is a plus Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards Physical ability to load, unload, and secure freight as required Prior experience with automotive repair or maintenance is advantageous Reliable transportation for personal commuting and work-related tasks This position offers an excellent opportunity for self-motivated drivers who value independence and professional growth within the logistics industry.
