Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other essential tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent service delivery. Duties Assist with basic food preparation and food handling under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as needed Ensure proper storage of food items and adherence to safety standards Help with dishwashing, waste disposal, and maintaining an organized work area Support the serving staff during busy periods by providing necessary supplies or assistance Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment Experience Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and food handling practices is a plus Experience with cleaning and sanitation procedures in a commercial setting is advantageous Previous roles involving hospitality or serving can be beneficial for understanding customer service expectations This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and culinary arts to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
