The Role Cheviot Products is seeking a detail-oriented and systems-minded professional to support our order processing, customer service, and logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, solving operational problems, and ensuring orders and shipments move through the business accurately and efficiently. This role is focused on order processing, customer communication, and shipping/logistics coordination. The successful candidate will help ensure that customer orders are processed accurately, shipments move smoothly, and our partners receive clear and professional communication. This position is well suited to someone who is organized, attentive to detail, comfortable working with systems, and takes pride in doing things correctly. Responsibilities Order Processing Receive and process customer purchase orders from online portals, email, and other channels Enter orders and returns into our ERP system (Spire) Review orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies when required Maintain and update records for back-ordered products and estimated arrival timelines Customer Communication Communicate order updates, shipping details, and discrepancies to customers and sales representatives Enter shipment tracking information into customer portals Respond to customer inquiries and support tickets through partner platforms such as Wayfair Partner Home and HubSpot. Provide professional communication with industry partners and consumers via phone and email Shipping & Logistics Prepare shipping documentation and customs paperwork for freight shipments Enter shipping information into FedEx and coordinate with local couriers Process weekly outbound freight shipments from our warehouse Coordinate custom bathtub painting with third-party partners General Support Provide basic product and order support (training provided; plumbing experience not required) Assist with occasional showroom walk-ins and customer inquiries Qualifications Required Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Comfortable working with software systems and online portals Professional and courteous when communicating with customers Preferred Experience with order processing or ERP systems Experience with shipping, logistics, or customs documentation Familiarity with e-commerce vendor portals or customer service platforms What We Value At Cheviot, we value team members who: Take pride in doing their work accurately and professionally Are reliable and accountable Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues Maintain high standards even when working independently Why Join Cheviot?
