About The Opportunity FCTG is seeking an experienced Salesforce Sr. Solution Architect to join our global technology team. In this role you will architect and design innovative solutions on our Salesforce platform, drive digital transformation, and enhance customer experiences across our travel ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Design Own the endtoend solution architecture for Salesforce applications across Sales, Service, Experience, and Platform capabilities. Design scalable, secure, and resilient Salesforce solutions using a combination of: Apex (where required) Lightning Web Components (LWC) Flows and Declarative Automation Salesforce APIs (REST / SOAP), Platform Events, and EventDriven Architecture Define architectural patterns and standards aligned with Salesforce best practices and enterprise principles. Translate complex business, functional, and nonfunctional requirements into clear, welldocumented solution designs. Lead solution design discussions and architecture reviews with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and external partners. Drive the introduction and adoption of Einstein, Agentforce, and AIenabled capabilities where they deliver measurable value. Platform Architecture, Governance & Quality Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements across regions and orgs. Define and enforce governorlimitaware design patterns, security models, and data access strategies. Review and approve technical designs and key implementation decisions. Establish architectural guardrails to balance speed of delivery with longterm maintainability. Partner with development leads to ensure quality, testability, and operational readiness of solutions. Integration & Data Architecture Design Salesforcecentric integration architectures with internal and external systems using established Salesforce integration patterns. Define systemtosystem communication models including: APIled integrations Eventdriven integrations Nearrealtime and batch data synchronization Provide architectural oversight for data models, data flows, validation, and data quality across the ecosystem. Collaborate with enterprise and integration architects to ensure alignment with the broader technology landscape. Delivery Enablement & Technical Leadership Partner with the Product Owner to jointly shape solutions that meet business objectives while remaining scalable and sustainable. Provide technical leadership and guidance to Salesforce developers and delivery teams. Act as the escalation point for complex technical and architectural decisions. Support delivery teams through design clarification, tradeoff analysis, and solution optimization. Enable consistent delivery through reusable patterns, reference architectures, and shared components. DevOps, Environments & Release Strategy Define and support environment strategies, deployment models, and CI/CD best practices for Salesforce. Ensure solutions align with established DevOps pipelines, version control standards, and change management processes. Partner with release management to reduce deployment risk and improve release velocity across environments. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Stay current with Salesforce releases, roadmap changes, and emerging platform capabilities. Continuously assess and improve platform architecture to reduce technical debt and improve agility. Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and platform enhancements to increase productivity and business value. Influence platform strategy by identifying gaps, risks, and futurestate improvements. Architecture Documentation & Deliverables Solution Architecture Diagrams, Integration and Data Flow Designs, Architecture Decision Records, NonFunctional Requirements, Architecture Principles, Reference Architectures, Security & Access Model Design, Integration Inventory & API Contracts, Environment, Deployment & Release Strategy Inputs, FutureState Architecture & Technical Debt Register. Experience & Qualifications Bachelors degree in a related field is desirable but not mandatory. Equivalent practical experience delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions may substitute formal education or certifications. Salesforce Certifications Required: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I Salesforce Certified Administrator Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator Salesforce Platform App Builder Salesforce Certified AI Associate Preferred: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Salesforce Certified AI Specialist At least two certifications from the Salesforce Architect Path, such as Integration Architecture Designer, Data Architecture Designer, or Sharing & Visibility Designer. Enterprise & Integration Architecture formal or practical training in distributed systems, integration patterns, API design, identity & security, and familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, C4). 10+ years of project experience in a handson solution and architecture design role. Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud implementation, OmniChannel, Service Cloud Voice, Einstein, Agentforce, Data Cloud. Strong knowledge of Salesforce outofthebox functionality, security, and best practices; solid understanding of objectoriented techniques. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within Agile/Scrum teams. Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns, APIbased integrations, and DevOpsenabled Salesforce teams. Experience with AI (LLM, Generative, Agentic) and industry knowledge in travel considered an asset but not required. Work Perks!
