Your Role This role is within the Sodatone team that builds an analytics platform that uses AI and machine learning to identify and evaluate emerging music talent. It leverages data from streaming services, social media, and other sources to help our A&R teams identify emerging artists, track trends, and make informed decisions about talent scouting and artist development. You are adept at creatively navigating the open web, using unconventional methods to reliably source, extract, and integrate disparate data. You have strong debugging skills with a solid grasp of testing, monitoring, and incident management. You have knowledge of AWS or other large cloud computing environments. You have a strong understanding of developing APIs, backend services, databases, data pipelines, data warehousing. You have a high sense of ownership and a drive to deliver impact in a fast-paced, evolving, ambiguous environment. You have a drive to grow, learn, and master the craft of software development. Tech stack consists of Ruby on Rails, Postgres, TimescaleDB, Snowflake, TypeScript and React, React Native, and AWS. Experience in this tech stack is a plus, although not mandatory. $90,000 - $135,000 a year Compensation This position offers a base salary of $90,000 - $135,000 CAD.
