Job Description

The Opportunity: Our client is looking for their next pivotal leadership position at the core of their operations. The Manager, Maintenance & Facilities will guide a skilled, cross-functional team dedicated to ensuring the plant, equipment, and systems run safely and efficiently. You will take ownership of driving employee and company performance, minimizing production downtime, and continuous improvement throughout the facility, all within a highly regulated and fast-paced environment. What youll do: Lead and develop a maintenance team supporting high-speed packaging equipment. Ensure maximum equipment uptime while maintaining strict compliance with GMP, FDA, and Health Canada regulations. Oversee and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to support validated and regulated production processes Manage maintenance activities in controlled environments (cleanrooms), ensuring adherence to hygiene, contamination control, and safety standards. Support equipment qualification and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) in collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams. Ensure proper documentation practices, including CMMS work orders, change control, deviation investigations, and audit-ready records. What youll need to be successful: At least five years of leadership experience, working in a maintenance setting. A strong technical background- mechanical engineering degree Proficiency in preventative maintenance, asset reliability, and facilities oversight. Strong collaboration skills to align multi-disciplinary teams to work together Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal). Experience managing a production facility with multiple shifts. CET or other professional designations are an asset. Experience with CMMS implementation is an asset. Experience with GMP is an asset. Compensation Expectation: $140,000/annually CAD
