My Catering Group is a dynamic, multi-faceted catering company with a growing presence across some of the National Capital Region's most iconic venues; including the Museum of History, the Museum of Nature, the Canadian War Museum, and Vignoble de Chelsea, as well as other prestigious venues across the NCR. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our team and help us deliver exceptional experiences across the city.About the RoleThis posting is for an existing vacancy. As an Event Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our events from the early planning stages right through to flawless execution. You'll work behind the scenes and on the floor, managing staff, coordinating logistics, and ensuring every client experience exceeds expectations.What You'll DoPlan and coordinate all event logistics, including rentals, timelines, and operational bindersServe as the primary client liaison: conducting site visits, anticipating needs, and maintaining strong relationshipsLead and delegate on-site staff to ensure seamless event executionManage rental accuracy, vendor coordination, and real-time problem-solving on event dayWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in event coordination and on-site managementRelevant education or training in hospitality or event planningProficiency in G Suite and Caterease (or similar event planning software)Strong organizational, time management, and people management skillsSharp problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBilingual in French and English (asset)Compensation: Starting annual salary $52,000-$58,000A Note on Our Hiring Process We do not use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to screen or evaluate applicants.
