This role is ideal for professional security guards who are experienced in crowd control, public safety, and providing first aid when required. Successful candidates will ensure a safe and secure environment for event guests, staff, and vendors, while maintaining a strong security presence. Responsibilities Provide security coverage at events Monitor crowd activity and maintain order Respond to incidents and emergencies Provide First Aid (OFA Level 2) when required Conduct patrols of event areas Control access points and check credentials Write incident and occurrence reports Work closely with event staff and management Requirements Valid BC Security Worker License (Required) OFA Level 2 Certification (Required) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in busy event environments Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods Preferred Qualifications Previous event security experience Experience with crowd control Conflict resolution skills Job Details Employment Type: Casual / Event-Based Location: New Westminster, BC Shifts: Mostly evenings, weekends, and event days Join our team as a Security Guard and play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our environment while developing your skills in surveillance and loss prevention.
