The Big Picture As a Shipper/Receiver Specialist, you are the final checkpoint before our craftsmanship reaches the customer. In the world of windows and doors, ''fragile'' isn''t just a stickerit''s a reality. We are looking for a detail-oriented, physically capable professional who understands that a scratch-free delivery is just as important as the build itself. You''ll manage the flow of incoming raw materials (glass, extrusions, hardware) and outgoing finished products, ensuring our logistics run as smoothly as a well-oiled sliding door. What You''ll Do Inventory Inbound: Receive and inspect incoming shipments of glass, aluminum/vinyl profiles, and hardware. Verify packing slips against purchase orders for accuracy. The Final Touch: Inspect finished window and door units for quality and protective packaging before they leave the facility. Loading & Bracing: Safely load finished products onto flatbeds or box trucks. You''ll be responsible for ''L-frame'' loading and securing glass products to prevent shifting during transit. Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the production team and freight carriers to schedule pickups and ensure on-time delivery. Documentation: Maintain digital and physical logs of shipments, damages, and returns using our inventory management system. Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized loading dock and adhere to all glass-handling safety protocols. What You Bring to the Table Experience: 2+ years in shipping/receiving, preferably in building materials or heavy manufacturing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating a forklift (certification preferred) and familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS). Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. (We deal with heavy glass and solid wood doors; it''s a workout). Attention to Detail: You''re the type who notices a 1/8-inch discrepancy or a hairline fracture from across the room. Communication: Clear, professional coordination with truck drivers and internal production managers. TEEMALV
