Norland is looking for an Industrial Moving Rigger at the Broadway Subway Project in Vancouver on site Pro-Tech / Industrial Movers works in Western Canada''s industrial sector, known for handling complex and large-scale industrial moving projects. We offer a wide range of services, including specialty rigging, machinery moving, heavy haul transportation, storage and warehousing, and custom fabrication. With a commitment to safety, innovation, and precision, we utilize advanced equipment to deliver efficient and safe solutions. Duties & Responsibilities: Unloading, relocating and placing ventilation systems Installation of ventilation systems (dampers, fan, drive motors, silencers and transitions) Assisting with hoisting units into tunnel Moving units into place using skates Jacking units up or down as required Anchoring and final installation Mechanical background is considered an asset Qualifications & Skills: Rigging certificate Telehandler certificate Forklift certificate Clean Shaven as full-face respirators are required Schedule of Work: Monday Thursday 10 hours per day at straight time rate Some Friday shifts may be required Compensation: This position will earn Union wages and will have access to extended Union healthcare and benefits, a Union-sponsored pension plan. Unionized wage range for this position is $35 - $42 per hour (based on candidate''s experience), plus 10 % vacation/statutory holiday pay.
