We are currently seeking a talented Mid-Level Corporate Securities Associate to join the esteemed Corporate Securities practice group in Vancouver. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to elevate their legal and client-service skills through engagement in local, national, and international corporate finance transactions, public mergers and acquisitions, and a range of securities law matters. Key Qualifications and Attributes: Experience: 2 to 5 years of post-call experience in corporate securities law, with a focus on capital markets and M&A, acquired at a national, regional, or reputable securities boutique law firm. Transactional Expertise: Proven ability to represent issuers, underwriters, and shareholders in domestic and cross-border public offerings and private placements of debt, equity, and structured finance products. Public M&A Proficiency: Experience with public M&A transactions, including take-over bids, plans of arrangement, and corporate reorganizations. Regulatory Acumen: Familiarity with corporate governance requirements, stock exchange compliance, continuous disclosure obligations, and general regulatory compliance. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and drafting abilities with a keen attention to detail. Client-Focused: A strong client-oriented mindset. Academic Excellence: Above-average academics. Legal Qualifications: Qualified to practice law in Canada.
