Salary: Up to $85K Location: Aurora Key Responsibilities Review, negotiate, draft, and finalize complex retail and condominium lease agreements and related documentation Coordinate execution of leases and supporting documents for both landlords and tenants Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, procedures, and business objectives Capture and accurately document all negotiated landlord and tenant obligations Manage workflow, priorities, and bring-forward systems to keep files moving efficiently Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, landlords, external counsel, and third parties Draft and finalize estoppels, tenant acknowledgements, notices, directions, and related correspondence Prepare, register, and discharge Notices of Lease across Canada, including all related administrative tasks Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy filing, tracking logs, and documentation status reports Review and interpret lease provisions, providing practical guidance to management as needed Abstract and track critical lease clauses and obligations Calculate, track, diarize, and support the collection of tenant allowances, including statutory declarations Build, maintain, and update precedents, templates, and internal resources Support additional real estate projects and initiatives as assigned Qualifications 5+ years experience in commercial leasing specializing in retail shopping centre leasing. 5+ years experience with retail lease negotiation 5+ years work experience with a hands-on approach to handle multiple projects and simultaneous deadlines Advanced level of business acumen. Advanced level of computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook Fluent in English, both verbal and written Extensive knowledge of lease requirements across Canada and real estate law is required.
