Universal Financial Associate High River Branch Reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager, the Universal Financial Associate supports our members with all their banking needs. The role includes preparing documents for member meetings, providing proactive contact and followup, handling walkin member discussions, performing daily banking transactions, and recommending products and services to enhance members financial wellbeing. What Youll Be Doing Proactively gather and document all pertinent information required for the Financial Advisor to have a robust conversation. Review personal accounts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance; look for recommendations to shape the members financial fitness. Open and review new accounts, following up with members as per member service guidelines. Prepare and enter loan application information. Support branch activities to grow new memberships and strengthen financial relationships with existing members. Clearly and skillfully differentiate between credit union and competitor products and services. Present advice and solutions that improve the members financial situation. Accurately process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, money orders, credit card advances, and foreign/domestic exchange & cheque cashing. What You Bring At least 1 year of retail banking or sales experience and a high school diploma. Although Not Required, The Following Education/Certificates Are Valuable Assets Postsecondary education in Finance (or related studies) IFIC certification Why Servus?
