The Master Data Manager is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing all master data management processes across the enterprise within the SAP environment. This role ensures the highest standards of data quality, consistency, and integrity while driving alignment with business objectives. The Manager provides leadership to the Master Data function, establishes governance frameworks, and partners with senior stakeholders to enable data-driven decisionmaking and operational excellence. New Hire Base Salary range: $90,000 - $125,000 Work setting: Hybrid. First three months is completely onsite in our Etobicoke office. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction for the Master Data function, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and digital transformation initiatives. Establish and enforce enterprisewide data governance standards, policies, and best practices within SAP and related systems. Oversee endtoend master data lifecycle management across SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, PP), ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Partner with executive and functional leaders (Procurement, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, IT, and others) to define and deliver data strategies that support business priorities. Drive continuous improvement through development of tools, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to monitor and enhance data quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Lead enterpriselevel SAP and related systems data initiatives, including system migrations, cleansing, harmonization, and S/4HANA implementations. Serve as an escalation point and decisionmaker for root cause analysis of data issues, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively. Represent the Master Data function in crossfunctional governance councils and steering committees, influencing enterprisewide data policies and decisions. Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and security requirements by collaborating with SAP Basis, Security, and Risk teams. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 7+ years of progressive experience in Master Data Management, including 3+ years in a people leadership or managerial capacity. Demonstrated expertise in SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, CO) with strong exposure to SAP MDG. Proven track record of managing enterpriselevel data migration and governance projects, including S/4HANA. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data strategies into business impact. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels. Analytical mindset with experience in data analytics, BI tools (e.g., SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI), and KPIdriven decisionmaking. Preferred Qualifications SAP certification(s) in relevant modules or data management. Experience leading largescale organizational change or digital transformation initiatives.
