At Oxygen8, we make #freshairthatfits. About the Role The Manufacturing Team Lead is a working supervisor responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities within the manufacturing operations. This role balances handson machine operations work with leadership responsibilities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and manufacturing targets are consistently met. The Manufacturing Team Lead provides direction, training, and support to team members and serves as the first point of escalation for operational issues within their assigned area. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Coordination and Quality Control Coordinate and prioritize daily work activities within an assigned production area or cell to meet production schedules and targets Assign tasks to team members based on skills, workload, and production priorities Perform and sign off onin processquality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards Identifyproduction or quality issues and support corrective actions tomaintainconsistent output Team Leadership, Training, and Safety Provideday-to-daydirection, guidance, andon-the-jobtraining to team members Ensure work is performed according to standard operating procedures and work instructions Promote and enforce safety rules, housekeeping, and 5S standards within the assigned area Identifysafety concerns and elevate unresolved issues asrequired Supervise 5-10 team members Materials, Workflow, and Continuous Improvement Ensure required materials, components, tools, and equipment are available to support uninterrupted production Coordinate with materials, warehouse, or production planning teams to address shortages or delays Monitor workflow,identifyinefficiencies, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity Hands On Machine Operations Support Operate manufacturing equipment (such as brake press, laser, foam injection machines) or tools relevant to the assigned areain accordance withsafety and quality standards Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and production documentation Provide support for panel preparation prior to assembly Experience and Skills 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and train team members Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and safety practices Implementing Lean Manufacturing Methods including Kaizen, 5S and TPM Proficient in Manufacturing Software including ERP (Epicor), Web Based Work Instructions (Dozuki) and Amada Operating System Operating CNC Equipment including Laser with Automated Tower, Brake Press Panel Press, and Foam Injection Machine Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and production documentation Strong communicationand organizational skills Working with Oxygen8 At Oxygen8, we strongly believe in building a team that works well together, and we are committed to creating an environment that is inclusive and provides the space for individuals to learn and grow.
