JOB STATEMENT The Infrastructure and Systems Analyst position is responsible for development, implementation, and support of existing network computing services, specifically network applications and operating systems, to ensure an efficient and effective network computing environment. They will assist team members with support, maintenance and optimization of core network services, devices, and communications systems. They will work alongside other Infrastructure team members to provide logistical support, respond to queries, document changes, and assist with testing, assessment, diagnosis and resolution of network service outages and incidents. They will maintain network systems and may configure devices, enable services or respond to end user requests for third level support. The Infrastructure and Systems Analyst participates in informal and formal learning opportunities and may travel on an as needed basis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure VMs, storage, virtual networks, and PaaS/IaaS services. Administer Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, and identity governance. Implement and maintain Azure security controls, policies, and compliance standards. Maintain and Improve Data Loss Prevention within the Microsoft ecosystem. Assisting Compliance and Management with Purview related reporting. Manage Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and cloud based DR processes. Monitor cloud performance, costs, and resource utilization with continuous optimization. Automate cloud administration via PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep templates. Collaborate with developers, security teams, and staff on cloud design and solution delivery. Administer and maintain Azure Data Lake environments, including permissions, storage hierarchies, performance, and security governance. Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server (onprem and Azure SQL) instances, databases, and related services. Ensure database performance through monitoring, tuning, indexing, and capacity planning. Implement and maintain existing SQL backup, Disaster Recovery, restore testing, collaborate with data teams to support ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouse tasks, and cloud migration activities. Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers and serverside applications Manage onprem Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain controller operations. Support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) including provisioning, tuning, and troubleshooting. Administer storage systems such as Netapp Perform system patching, firmware updates, and lifecycle maintenance. Monitor and troubleshoot onprem servers, applications, and network performance. Maintain accurate technical documentation, diagrams, procedures, and change records. Ensure consistent security, compliance, and access controls across cloud and onprem estates. Lead or contribute to infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and modernization projects. Facilitate clear communication with end users and able to oversee the successful execution and reporting of project deliverables. Provide Tier2/3 technical escalation support across all infrastructure layers. Participate in support and afterhours maintenance windows as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS University degree, college diploma or relevant working experience 5+ years of relevant infrastructure and systems experience Microsoft Azure certification or other cloudbased certifications an asset Solid background in Windows/Linux server administration and OS hardening. Experience managing VMware or equivalent virtualization technologies. Familiarity with enterprise storage systems and backup/DR solutions. Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and operational efficiency. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or equivalent industry certifications. Experience supporting hybrid AD environments and federated identity solutions. Experience administering MS purview and sensitivity labels and implementation Knowledgeable in designing Azurebased infrastructures using services such as Azure Virtual Networks, App Services, Storage, and Identity solutions. Proven knowledge of network technologies: routing, switching, VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS. Working knowledge of AI tools and concepts, including their practical application in business or IT environments. COMPENSATION The base salary range is expected to be between $100,000 - $110,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
