Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vice President, Property and Asset Management to lead the Property Management and Leasing teams, ensuring strong operational performance, tenant satisfaction, and execution across the portfolio. This role also serves as the organizations sole Asset Management lead, responsible for portfolio strategy, asset-level financial performance, business planning, and value creation. With no direct Asset Management reports, the Vice President must be comfortable executing the handson financial analysis and performance optimization required to drive results, partnering closely with Finance as needed. This position requires a leader who can both guide teams and personally deliver the tactical asset management work that supports longterm portfolio growth. Responsibilities Property Management and Leasing Oversight Perform any additional duties as requested by senior management. Oversee both residential and commercial property management and Leasing operations to ensure operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and cost control. Drive leasing performance in collaboration with internal or external leasing teams. Ensure strong vendor management, service quality, and expense discipline. Implement standardized operating procedures and performance reporting across properties. Lead initiatives to improve tenant retention, occupancy rates, and property-level profitability. Portfolio Strategy and Performance Leadership Perform any additional duties as requested by senior management. Develop and execute comprehensive asset strategies to maximize portfolio value, NOI growth, and longterm returns. Lead portfolio optimization initiatives. Establish performance benchmarks and KPIs across the portfolio. Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team and ownership regarding capital allocation and investment priorities. Monitor macroeconomic trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform portfolio strategy. Financial Oversight & Value Creation Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for all managed assets. Identify revenue enhancement opportunities and expense optimization initiatives. Partner with Finance to ensure accurate reporting and variance analysis. Evaluate refinancing, capital improvement, and development strategies to enhance asset value. Risk Management & Governance Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and market risks across the portfolio. Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and fiduciary obligations. Oversee insurance strategies, lease compliance, and major contract negotiations. Establish and maintain internal controls and governance standards across asset and property operations. Leadership & Organizational Development Lead, mentor, and develop the Property Management and Leasing teams. Build scalable systems and processes to support portfolio growth. Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with Development, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and the Executive Leadership team. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication Deliver executivelevel reporting on portfolio performance, asset strategy, and operational metrics. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Translate complex financial and operational data into clear strategic narratives. Additional Responsibilities Perform any additional duties as requested by senior management. Qualifications Bachelors degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in real estate asset management and/or property management. Strong background in property management, leasing, and portfolio strategy. Demonstrated experience leading highperforming teams. Deep understanding of commercial and/or residential real estate markets. Proven ability to drive NOI growth and asset value enhancement.
