The successful candidate will serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert supporting automotive customers with productrelated inquiries. This role is ideal for someone with a strong automotive mechanical background who enjoys problemsolving, research, and customer interactionbut does not require handson mechanical work. The focus is on technical guidance, warrantybased questions, and product performance support.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary technical point of contact for customers, handling approximately 5 calls per day along with a high volume of emailbased technical inquiriesProvide technical support and consultation related to automotive products, including diagnosing issues such as converter failures, postinstallation fault codes, and warranty concernsResearch and troubleshoot complex product issues when answers are not immediately known, escalating when necessaryCollaborate closely with internal operations to resolve technical challenges and improve product performanceTrack customer interactions, warranty returns, and technical issues using Excel and other tracking tools, ensuring accuracy and attention to detailMonitor market trends and review product catalogs to identify coverage gaps and opportunities for future product developmentDeliver virtual product training (Zoom/Teams) to customers and distributors; inperson training may followSupport distributor relationships and help maintain an existing client base, including occasional U.S. travelMust Haves5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a technical customer service, product support, or mechanical advisory roleStrong mechanical understanding of automotive systems (handson experience helpful, but this is not a handson role)Experience answering technical and warrantybased questions related to automotive productsAbility to interpret product failures, installation issues, and diagnostic codesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence speaking to customers via phone and emailStrong critical thinking and problemsolving abilitiesHigh attention to detail when handling technical data, warranty claims, and customer followupsComfortable working independently as a selfstarter in a fastpaced environmentProficiency with Excel/spreadsheets and general technical tracking toolsAbility to travel to the United States (up to 20%)PlussesBackground working closely with mechanics or service departmentsExperience supporting automotive product development or performance analysisFamiliarity with AutoCADPostsecondary education in a technical or automotiverelated fieldExperience delivering customer or distributor product training #J-18808-Ljbffr
