Position ScopeWe are seeking a Windows 11 Deployment Support Summer Student to assist North American Construction Groups Client Services team with a Windows 10 to Windows 11 workstation refresh project during the summer term. This role will provide handson technical experience in hardware rollout, workstation configuration, Intune Management, system troubleshooting, and customer support.Where Youll Be WorkingRate of Pay $18.00 to $22.00/hrSite: Acheson Head Office (located 10 minutes West of Edmonton)Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pmWhat Youll Be DoingAssist with the imaging, configuration, and deployment of Windows 11 workstations through Autopilot and Intune.Swap out existing Windows 10 devices and perform data transfer or validation where required.Troubleshoot workstation, peripheral, and software issues during deployment activities.Install and configure standard corporate applications.Document deployment tasks, issues, and resolutions.Provide frontline technical support to end users during rollout.Ensure asset tagging, inventory updating, and tracking accuracy.Participate in department initiatives and continuous improvement activities.What Makes You The ONEPrevious helpdesk, IT support, Intune, or enduser support experience considered an asset.Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems preferred.Working toward a diploma or degree in Computer Systems Technology, Information Technology, or related discipline.Solid understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11).Basic knowledge of PC hardware, Autopilot, Intune, imaging processes, and software installation.Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Ability to work independently and in a fastpaced team environment.Good organizational skills with attention to detail.Experience with Microsoft 365 applications is an asset.High energy level with a willingness to learn new technologies.After you submit your resume, our Recruitment team will review your application.
