Position Summary Logistics Coordinator is responsible for management of shipments and receiving parts for projects & inventory. The Ideal candidate will have excellent communication & organization skills. Responsibilities Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer. Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions. Inspect and verify incoming goods against Packing slips, record shortages and reject damaged goods. Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas. Maintain internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems. May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods. Receive requests for parts, pick orders and, pack for shipment. Assist on Quarterly Inventory counts. Tidy warehouse Operational Excellence: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals. Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements At least 1-2 years of experience as Shipper / Receiver Ability to routinely lift and carry 50 lbs.
