Our client, a large, globally recognized retailer, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team on an 18-month contract . This role requires working onsite 4 days per week at their offices in downtown Toronto . WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON Be responsible for the month-end close activities for the DTC business, including revenue and margin planning, inventory analysis and ensuring accuracy and completeness of information with strict adherence to reporting timelines. You will partner with the Finance and DTC teams, providing guidance on both short- and long-term strategies critical to the organizations success. Key account focus will be our Nike Direct channel where you will lead reporting, month end financial close, KPI reporting and business analysis. Analyze results, monitor variances, identify trends and recommend actions to management. Leverage reporting tools and raw data to provide value-added analysis to the Canada team to drive the business. Youll interpret and review financial and operational results including marketplace trends/issues and opportunities to drive actionable responses. Requirements Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field Already certified in, or candidate of CPA-CMA program preferred 4-5+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting and budgeting SAP and SAP BW proficiency is highly desired Advanced level skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company work experience is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential Able to effectively work with various teams and collaborate with different partners Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and fluid environment Additional Information: The Mason Group is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and accessible recruitment process.
