The Opportunity The IT Department at MIC is a dynamic team specializing in IT infrastructure, diagnostic imaging equipment, and clinical applications. We work collaboratively to support day-to-day operations, projects, and best-in-class clinical systems. Hours: 8:00am 4:00pm Role and Responsibilities As a Clinical Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of MICs clinical systems. Starting with common tasks, daily checks, and support requests, you will gradually take on more complex responsibilities. The performance, reliability and security of clinical systems are critical to the seamless, optimized delivery of diagnostic imaging services to our patients and referring providers. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain MICs clinical systems, including: PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) Kailo SonoReview electronic worksheets Corepoint HL7 Integration Engine Prioritize and resolve support requests from staff, radiologists, and our helpdesk, escalating as needed based on key drivers (e.g. radiologist impact, patient care). Implement innovative changes to enhance user experience with MICs clinical systems. Maintain data integrity of clinical application systems and patient records. Conduct upgrade, implementation, and integration testing, and troubleshoot issues in partnership with software vendors. Participate in and lead projects as required. Lead the configuration, development, implementation and training for clinical systems, and create and maintain enduser documentation. Contribute to the development of individual objectives and the departmental strategic plan. Required Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and experience supporting and maintaining clinical systems related to healthcare. Diverse clinical system background with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and clinical system dependencies. Experience defining workflow requirements and supporting and troubleshooting HL7 and DICOMbased integrations. Proven track record of work quality and attention to detail. A demonstrated, clear pattern of professional and personal growth. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively to all personnel, including clinical staff and radiologists. Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine commitment to providing quality support to endusers. Valid drivers license and vehicle to travel to clinics as needed, with occasional workfromhome opportunities.
