Overview Panasonic Canada Inc. is currently looking to hire for the position of Distribution Sales Specialist Indoor Air Quality. The Distribution Sales Specialist establishes and builds partnerships with distributors, showrooms, and contractors located within the assigned territory. The role visits customers to promote Panasonic products with branch managers, counter staff, sales staff, and contractors. This is a fulltime position and is hybrid, with any officebased work performed from our Mississauga office at Ambler Drive. Travel requirement is 80% with approximately 100% of travel within Ontario, Canada. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the time of application. Responsibilities Establish and build partnerships with assigned dealers within the territory. Conduct regular inperson visits with dealer management, sales staff, and customers to promote Panasonic product and brand visibility. Complete a minimum number of highquality dealer calls per week, roughly 20 to 40 calls per week, supporting a maximum 8week cycle. Ensure demonstrator products are properly displayed, wellmaintained, and stocked at appropriate levels. Ensure promotional and product material is consistently available and actively used instore. Collect and communicate dealer and customer feedback, updating dealer profiles and records as needed. Provide recommendations to improve layout, product positioning, and lighting to enhance instore presentation. Monitor and report competitive activity within the territory to management. Assist individual customers when required and prepare necessary reports related to dealer activity and performance. Identify training needs and opportunities among business partners and distributors. Develop, design, and deliver product knowledge training sessions to business partners, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and sales strategies. Ensure training content and delivery meet the needs of distributor showrooms and contractors while supporting sales effectiveness. Evaluate product knowledge levels to determine ongoing training requirements. Assess the effectiveness of training sessions, implement improvements, and provide recommendations and feedback to stakeholders. Prepare and submit detailed training and activity reports as required. Ensure replenishment and proper functioning of instore displays. Make recommendations and take appropriate action regarding materials that need replacing. Ensure that inoperative demonstrator equipment is repaired or replaced. Assist with the resolution of inbranch issues, including parts, service, backorder, returns, or credit. Prepare required reports. Participate in sales events, product knowledge communication initiatives, demo days, and trade shows. Assist with all aspects of projects as required by management. Deal with enquiries from branches, contractors, and consumers and provide solutions or direct them to the proper team member for resolution. Monitor online requests and follow up or direct to the proper team member for action. Qualifications Community College twoyear certificate or diploma in Business Administration or a related field. Minimum two (2) years of related work experience in sales, account management, training, or a customerfacing role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience using a CRM system and presentation software. Ability to analyze situations and select appropriate solutions from multiple available options. Proven ability to develop and deliver customized solutions based on business partner needs. Ability to recommend changes to policy, processes, or practices to improve effectiveness. Strong reporting, documentation, and followup skills. Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. High level of cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity. What Youll Earn The annual/hourly wage range for this position is $$51,749 - $75,000 CAD. The role is eligible for a maximum annual bonus of 25% of the base salary based on achievement of predetermined objectives. This position is eligible for a biweekly car allowance of $254. Actual compensation offered to the selected incumbent will vary depending on the individuals knowledge, skills, and experience related to the role.
