If you want to work for one of the most recognized brands in the world and one of the Top 100 Employers in Canada, and have a ton of fun, please keep reading!Our PerksFantastic employee discount on all Samsung productsCompetitive salary and performance-based incentive plan for all levelsEmployer-paid medical and dental coverage from day oneGroup RRSP plan to help you save for the futureFree on-site gymSubsidized cafeteria, including free Starbucks coffee/latte machineTuition reimbursement and access to Samsung U for 24/7 online learningEmployee referral programVirtual pet care to support well-being of petsAdditional well-being days for better work-life balanceRole and ResponsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities:Strategic Planning/Analyses: Current month sales forecast and 3-month/yearly sales forecasting and planning.Budget forecasting and profit simulation: Current Monthly Forecast plus 3 Month/yearly Forecast, guided with Business Manager, Carrier Business Manager, and Supply Chain Management.Liaison with corporate planning/financial planning teams.Assist in Quarterly/Semi-Annual/Annual Strategic Planning.Consolidate product and service delivery plans and analyze all purchasing and sales activities.Work with SECA Legal team on contract reviews and approvals.Maintain and track Divisional Local and Consolidated Profit.Liaise with 3P contractors.Collaborate with SECA shared service teams to streamline value chain operations and expenditures processes.Oversee RFP/RFI for new vendors.Assist account teams in building accurate and robust business plans.Assist executive leadership in cost control and optimization.Industry/Market Analyses: Macro trends analyses; global, industry and Canadian market trends and identification of opportunity space.Competitor analysis on Canadian Network Vendors.Manage carrier market share tracker.Maintain/monitor/report key performance metrics: Update KPIs and create reports/presentations for Samsung Canada senior management, North America, and HQ in Korea.Communications: Collect and distribute all product assets including monthly price lists; assist in HQ communications and management planning.Assist in the general business management of the division by working with Sales Managers to provide timely market-sensing and other reports as required.RequirementsSkills and QualificationsEducationMinimum bachelors degree in business or finance subjects preferred.KnowledgeStrong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.Bilingual (English and Korean).Demonstrated ability to interact and work with all levels within the organization.Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects in a changing corporate environment.ExperiencePrior business modeling experience preferred.Accounting background preferred.5 years experience in a technology or communication environment preferred.Prior experience in supporting an RFP process.Experience in IT, Consumer Electronics and/or Telecommunication industry in strategy, planning or marketing analysis preferred.Develops professional expertise by complying with company policies and procedures.Works on problems of moderate scope; analysis requires reviewing various factors and data.Judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Generally requires a bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience, or an advanced degree without experience.The salary range for this role is expected to be between $68,000 to $94,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, and experience.
