We welcome your interest! Please join us! Summary Of Position This is a permanent fulltime School Liaison position, commencing as soon as possible. Position hours are 7.5 hours per day Monday to Friday. Accountabilities Enhance relationships between school and home to meet student needs including home visits Provide support to students who are experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioural dysregulation Enhance connections to Indigenous and/or multicultural communities Assist in the development and/or implementation of preventative programs and activities for individuals and groups Build relationships and provide necessary connections with partner organizations to help families access needed resources and/or services Qualifications Preference will be given to a candidate with postsecondary training in Social Services, Human Services, Psychology, or Sociology Equivalent training and experience will be considered The ability to offer life skills, social skills and anger management programming would be an asset Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract with access to a reliable vehicle The Right Person will have the capacity to interact with a broad range of public members in a positive manner have the ability to take initiative and work independently possess a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment have excellent communications skills genuinely appreciate working with children and demonstrate patience, show empathy, and help make learning fun LSKYSD Benefits family health coverage generous sick leave plan school breaks and summers off professional development opportunities maternity leave top up benefit family assistance program secure pension plan an opportunity to make a difference For further information, please contact Jamie Whitt, Principal at .
