Job Description Parsons is actively seeking an Engineering Team Leader with experience leading Roadways/Highways design-build projects for the Ministry of Transportation in the Greater Toronto Area. Were reinventing our Greater Toronto Civil infrastructure team. Come be a part of our culture of empowerment and collaboration in the Highway unit. What Youll Be Doing We are looking for a seasoned Regional Highway Lead to grow our business in the GTA. A candidate with handson project management experience for at least three to five large Ministry of Transportation (MTO) detailed design highway widening and/or interchange modification projects can shape this position and the group to a model they know is successful. In this role, you will oversee and manage the overall civil design team on both conventional and design/build projects for MTO highway programs. And play a key role in growing our business with the MTO. We are currently working for the MTO on highway improvement projects and want to take advantage of the relationship to move into more highway design projects with the agency. Supported by a strong design team, the Regional Highway Lead will be managing design projects upon award. What Required Skills Youll Bring University degree in Engineering (or related field) P.Eng. (Professional Engineer) designation required 15 + years of experience delivering major/significant MTO projects Handson project management experience for 3 to 5 large MTO detailed design highway widening and/or interchange modification projects Proven background of leading multidisciplinary design teams on challenging, highprofile projects Project management experience for MTO Environmental Assessment and preliminary design projects preferred This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
