Type of position: Regular Your future role on our team Youll participate in all phases of mining projects, from prefeasibility studies to commissioning, and operational support. Our multidisciplinary team members combine their expertise to carry out high-tech process simulations and identify the equipment, tools and processes needed. Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers and project support staff Support a variety of cross-discipline teams to ensure cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed client expectations Develop process plant material balance, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs and contribute to plant layouts, technical specifications and technical evaluations Prepare capital and operating cost evaluations Liaise with clients on a technical level and deliver reports, publications and presentations in a professional manner Help prepare proposals Train and share experiences with younger engineers Participate in business development and corporate growth Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture? Entrepreneurial spirit Results-driven Thirst to learn and excel Willingness to work together while having fun Ability to look beyond established standards Rigorous and ethical Summary of certifications and job requirements Bachelors degree in mineral processing, metallurgy or chemical engineering Registered as a professional engineer Six to ten years of experience in precious metals, base metals and green energy minerals General areas of expertise include metallurgical test work planning and analysis, crushing, grinding, flotation, hydrometallurgy, water treatment, gravity separation, pressure oxidation, heap leaching, CIL/CIP and electrowinning/refining Strong track record of projects completed successfully in the mining industry Available for occasional travel to domestic and international destinations Enthusiasm and capacity for business development and corporate growth Experience with Microsoft Office and process simulation software (e.g. JKSimMet, Bruno for comminution and METSIM) Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written (French as a second language would be an asset) Significant asset: feasibility study and NI 43-101 experience Asset: interested in process control and optimization Asset: operations and/or consulting experience Asset: demonstrated ability in finding innovative solutions to complex metallurgical problems An overview of BBAs total rewards Annual base salary from $99,318 to $121,389 Annual premium program for regular employees Onsite mobility premium Time bank Cellphone fee reimbursements Group insurance plan from the first day of employment, including disability insurance and a telemedicine program Retirement savings plan Annual vacation and sick leave Premium for employee referrals BBA considers many factors when determining the annual base salary, including location, market, education, relevant and demonstrated work experience, technical assessment, qualifications, certifications and other relevant skills.
