You will also be responsible for:Handle general accounting tasks such as journal entries, monthly and year-end close, bank and credit card reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations with proper documentation.Prepare and file monthly GST and WSIB submissions.Track and report plant metrics such as costs, KPIs, labor, production efficiency, and scrap using the ERP system.Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support financial planning.Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with operational performance.Support internal and external audits, particularly in cost accounting, inventory, and reconciliations.Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights to business leaders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Gain exposure to cost analysis, FP&A, and cross-functional projects with opportunities for career growth into leadership roles.What you bring to the jobThe ideal candidate is someone with strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
