This position reports to the Sr Quality Manager and is part of the Quality team located in Vancouver, BC and will be an onsite role.What Youll DoMonitor, inspect and approve incoming materials and inprocess production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, documenting inspection reports and logs, returning and confirming products for rework.Keeps measurement equipment operational by following operating instructions and calibration requirements.Recommends and participates in product improvements and changes to the production processes to improve Quality and educate your production colleagues.Who You AreDegree in Engineering or equivalent experience with inspection of components against mechanical and/or electrical drawings. Requires 2+ years of experience in QA/QC role in ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 QMS.Problemsolving and resultsdriven approach. Efficient organizational skills and managing multiple priorities effectively.Excellent verbal communication, technical writing, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Experience with Metrology, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Quality Inspector Certification (CQI)Experience with creating standard work, SOP writing, and continuous improvement toolsThe annual salary range 65,000-75,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
