GeorgiaPacifics OSB Division Project Manager Based out of Englehart, Ontario, the Project Manager will provide Project Management expertise to support capital investments at operating facilities across the division. The role typically involves managing multiple simultaneous projects and involves ~5% travel. What You Will Do Develop investment proposals, scopes of work, estimates, execution plans, and related materials. Organize and execute design, construction/installation, commissioning, startup, and documentation activities, track project cost and reporting, and other activities defined in the scope of work and project justification proposal. Lead multidiscipline teams, external engineering firms, and vendors. Manage project schedule and track progress. Ensure capable field technical support and construction management resources and systems are in place to drive project success and EH&S excellence. Partner closely with purchasing and procurement resources. Ensure compliance with internal and external safety and environmental standards and practices. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering or technical field. A minimum of 5 years of experience working within a manufacturing industry, or a similar industrial setting (Oil & Gas, Mining, Power Generation, etc.). A minimum of 3 years of proven experience successfully leading and implementing engineering projects. What Will Put You Ahead Proficiency with MS Project software. Proficiency with AutoCAD software. Experience with Ecosys project management software. Experience in the Building Products industry. Professional Engineers license. 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry. A minimum of 5 years of proven successful project management including development and execution. For this role, we anticipate paying $130k $160k CAD per year. The role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in other form. Compensation is an estimate; actual amounts may vary.
