Base Salary for this role: $95,000 - $125,000 CAD Location: Vancouver, BC - Hybrid About The Role Were looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to join Orions Finance team and play a key role in executing the monthly close and financial reporting processes. This role will focus on handson accounting execution, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support. The position is ideal for a technically strong CPA who enjoys working closely with financial data while building expertise in a complex publiccompany environment. Youll work closely with senior accounting leadership to support financial reporting, strengthen accounting processes, and ensure accurate and timely financial information across the organization. What Youll Do Prepare and review journal entries supporting the monthly and quarterly close processes Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring appropriate documentation and resolution of reconciling items Support preparation of financial reporting packages and supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting Assist with consolidation processes across multiple entities Support accounting for complex areas including loans, financial instruments, leases, and accruals Prepare audit schedules and respond to external auditor requests during audit cycles Assist in documenting accounting processes and strengthening internal control documentation Support financial analysis and variance investigations as part of the reporting process Partner with FP&A and operational teams to ensure accounting results reflect underlying business activity Support continuous improvement initiatives within NetSuite and financial reporting processes What Youll Bring CPA designation or near completion 5+ years of accounting experience Public practice (Big 4 or midtier) experience preferred Experience working with IFRS financial reporting Strong Excel proficiency and experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills Ability to operate effectively in a fastpaced environment with competing priorities Benefits of working with us ALWAYS FULLY REMOTE WORK - Enjoy the flexibility of remote work, supported by necessary resources Comprehensive Health and Wellness - Access medical, dental, and vision coverage plus a Health Spending Account Stock Options - Have a stake in the company''''s success through stock options Flex Vacation - Benefit from paid time off, including vacation days, holidays, and personal days Wellbeing Programs - Access counselling services, mental health support, and additional wellness resources About Us We help make it easy for Canadians to achieve financial freedom while making a positive impact.
