The Opportunity: Our client, in the manufacturing industry is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team in Windsor, Ontario. This role will be responsible for leading operational finance activities across plant operations, including budgeting and forecasting, manufacturing cost analysis, fixed asset and capital management, as well as partnering closely with plant leadership to improve cost visibility, drive efficiencies, and influence strategic decision-making. Base Salary Range: $71,000 - $107,000 (Based on education and experience) Company paid RRSP contributions Opportunity to work for a growing organization What Youll Be Responsible For: Partnering closely with plant managers and operations leadership to strengthen cost visibility, support decision-making, and drive measurable improvements across manufacturing activities. Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes for facility overhead across Windsor operations, including refreshing and maintaining the Operations P&L. Analyzing manufacturing costs, standard costing, and variances to identify key cost drivers, risks, and opportunities, while supporting cost savings and efficiency initiatives. Managing fixed assets and capital expenditures across Canadian facilities, including monitoring spend vs. budget, supporting capital approvals, and ensuring accurate capitalization and depreciation. Developing and enhancing financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools that translate complex operational data into actionable insights for leadership. Strengthening monthend close processes related to manufacturing operations and improving financial controls and reporting efficiency. Collaborating with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to evaluate capital investments, capacity expansion, and other strategic initiatives. The Ideal Candidate: Bachelors degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA designated (or actively pursuing). 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Experience supporting manufacturing or plant operations, with exposure to costing, overhead analysis, and variance reporting. Strong technical capabilities in Excel and financial modeling, with ERP experience in systems such as SAP or Oracle. A proactive, handson professional who builds credibility with crossfunctional partners and enjoys being close to the business. Able to balance detailed analysis with strategic thinking, providing both tactical support and forwardlooking insight. An effective communicator who can present financial findings clearly and confidently to leadership. Adaptable, selfmotivated, and energized by driving performance improvements in a dynamic environment.
