Azure IaaS Networking Senior Engineer Customer Engineer (FrenchEnglish Bilingual) Job#: 3024662 Location: Canada Level: Senior / Principal (Level 4) 10+ years experience Role Overview This role supports enterprise customers across Canada and the U.S. by delivering deep technical expertise in Azure IaaS, networking, and network security. The Customer Engineer (CE) leads customer engagements focused on migration, modernization, operational excellence, and resilient cloud architecture using frameworks such as the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and WellArchitected Framework (WAF). It requires full bilingual fluency in French and English to support customers in Quebec and across Canada. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted technical advisor for Azure IaaS networking customers. Lead workshops, health checks, architecture reviews, and technical deep dives. Troubleshoot complex Azure networking issues across hybrid and cloudonly environments. Provide guidance on CAF/WAFaligned architecture, modernization, and operational excellence. Deliver rootcause analysis, best practices, and strategic recommendations. Support hybrid connectivity scenarios (ExpressRoute, VPN, private endpoints, SDWAN). Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve escalated issues. Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing. Communicate clearly in both French and English in written and live customer interactions. Work remotely and support enterprise customers via Microsoft Teams. Required Qualifications Fluent bilingual proficiency in French and English (verbal and written). 810+ years in cloud infrastructure, networking engineering, IT consulting, or enterprise support roles. Deep expertise in Azure IaaS, including Azure VMs, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure VMware Solution, Azure Monitor (Log Analytics, KQL, DCRs, AMPLS), Azure networking (Hub/Spoke, Virtual WAN, DNS, Private Resolver, ExpressRoute, S2S VPN, private endpoints/links), Azure network security (Azure Firewall, NVAs, WAF), Hybrid services (Azure Arc, ASR, Backup), and general Azure PaaS familiarity (SQL MI, App Services, APIM, App Gateway, Load Balancers). Strong understanding of modern cloud architecture strategy. Proven experience designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud and hybrid environments. Strong communication, customerfacing skills, and executivelevel presence. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Azure certifications (AZ305, AZ104, AZ700). Experience supporting Fortune 1000 or government customers. Background in hybrid cloud architecture and BCDR design. Experience delivering technical workshops or customerfacing engagements.
