Job Description

The Accounting Manager oversees the full monthly and quarterly close cycle and ensures accurate financial reporting under US GAAP. This role leads the accounting team, drives process enhancements, and collaborates closely with leadership across a multisite hospitality/servicesoriented environment. Missions Lead, support, and develop an accounting team while overseeing journal entry review, account reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and the full monthly close cycle. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and US GAAP requirements. Improve and streamline accounting processes, contribute to system enhancements, and optimize workflow efficiency. Manage and mentor staff, promoting skill development and strong performance. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and provide support for internal and external audits. Maintain productive relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and service providers. Minimum 5 years of combined experience in public accounting and/or industry, ideally within medium or large organizations. Team management experience is mandatory, with proven ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting staff. CPA designation is a strong asset. Experience with Oracle or a similar ERP system is a strong asset. Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting processes. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
