An innovative interactive entertainment technology organization is seeking a Software Engineer with a strong foundation in software development and a passion for building the infrastructure that powers large-scale, live digital experiences. In this role, youll blend software engineering and DevOps practices to design automation, develop internal tooling, and support cloud-native platforms that deliver real-time audience engagement. By providing technical solutions and contributing to mapped-out optimization initiatives, youll help ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and ready for high-visibility live environments. Required Skills & Experience 25 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or site reliability roles, with a solid handson understanding of the software development lifecycle Handson experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions Experience working with containerized systems (Docker) and supporting scalable application architectures in Linux-based environments Desired Skills & Experience Experience with infrastructure automation and artifact management tools such as Packer and Artifactory Familiarity with observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or CloudWatch for monitoring system health and performance Exposure to serverless or event-driven architectures, or experience supporting technology in live demo, broadcast, or event-driven environments Daily Responsibilities HandsOn Engineering: 65% Team Collaboration & CrossFunctional Work: 35% Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a fulltime basis now and in the future.
