What is the opportunity? The incumbent is part of the Lending Services senior leadership team and will play a critical role in delivering on the vision to build out a corporate asset scalable for growth. The incumbent will represent Lending Services for the Commercial Bank and serve as the relationship lead to Business Partners in the Corporate Client Group. Job Description The incumbent is responsible for the daytoday execution of lending operations for the Commercial Banking portfolios servicing client transactions and business growth. This individual ensures operational excellence of the Corporate Client Group / Commercial Banking agency and lender services through effective team management, workflow optimization, quality control, and realtime issue resolution. This individual collaborates on the strategic direction of lending services with other Lending services leaders to ensure consistent, high-quality operational delivery, to innovate and challenge statusquo. Responsibilities include timing execution of client payments and settlements, risk mitigation and data integrity of loan and trading positions, fees and accruals as well as process improvement and efficiencies. What will you do? The Director of Corporate Client Group Lending Services is accountable for daily operational execution, team performance management, and service delivery excellence for the Lending Services Corporate Asset, in line with the declared vision of the team. Responsible for endtoend delivery of Lending Services to Corporate Client Group from deal management and operational advice, facility setup, initial advances, and ongoing servicing of the facilities where RBC is acting as Agent and when RBC is the Lender for the client. Ensures loan transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining high levels of client servicing. Fosters an environment focused on Tier1 client servicing, zero ORE, and high control on payments through a culture of quality. Promotes continuous improvement and supports employees through proactive communication, issue resolution, and effective decisionmaking. Provides focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance. Responsibilities Stakeholder Management: works directly with CCG stakeholders and leadership ensuring superior client experience and regular executive updates leveraging data and insights Operational Execution: ensure all transactions are processed in a timely manner within quality standards and business requirements, including goals to minimize past dues over 30days and goals of 0 past dues past 90days, and cash reconciled within 30days Team Management: lead, coach, and develop leaders of Operations team to achieve peak performance Quality Assurance: maintain rigorous quality control and error prevention standards Service Delivery: meet or exceed service level commitments to internal and external clients Issue Resolution: rapidly identify, triage, and resolve operational issues and escalations Resource Management: optimize team capacity and workload distribution, manage NIE and headcount plans What do you need to succeed? Must have''''s Academic background MBA designation or equivalent - with knowledge in organizational behaviour and change management, alternatively 1520 years of experience relevant to Commercial and Corporate Lending Knowledge of syndication practices, loan documentation, lending products, funding and payment mechanisms in global markets Typically has 10years management experience and demonstrates proven leadership and people management experience and 10years of operational management experience Advanced coaching skills to drive department strategy Advanced communication skills with people at various levels both internally and externally and at varying levels of technical/business knowledge Ability to respond effectively to requests from borrowers and participants for accommodations which fall outside the parameters of the Credit Agreement Ability to perform under pressure to multitask and reprioritize tasks as necessary and meet timesensitive deadlines Previous experience with RBFG and familiarity with credit process, Agency Services processes is an asset Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point etc.) and Automated Commercial Banking System (ACBS) Whats in it for you?
