Responsibilities Ensuring schedule meets the needs of the property and contractual obligation. Work with Management, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Fire Department, EMS on various projects. Conducting emergency drills for the property including security team, mall administration, tenants. Conducting tenant visit reports ensuring the retailer''''s security needs are addressed and promoting partnerships. Visiting tenants to stay on top of latest shoplifting incidents Ensuring all security personnel maintain the utmost level of deportment. Ensuring all security personnel complete all required training programs in a timely manner. Conducting audits on security personnel ensuring that we deliver a superior customer service experience to all who visit the property. Covering scheduling needs last minute. Conduct monthly site inspections and reporting deficiencies, or safety risks. Ability to patrol up to 10KM a day. Assist dispatch & Royal Canadian Mounted Police with incident investigations. On call as necessary. Optimizing patrol routes as needed. Ensuring all projects are completed prior to deadlines. Attending weekly regional meetings. Conduct reports for corporate as needed. Reviewing financial reports with Security Director & the client. Ensuring the deployment remains within budget for standard & event deployment. Assisting in optimizing the security program. Working with established partnerships such as retailer Loss Prevention Managers, Police, Fire, and EMS departments. Conducting retail awareness committee meetings every quarter. Creating JSA, OJT, and other on-site training materials. Complete Use of Force, WCB, and vehicle accident reports. Ensuring the needs of the Security team are met. Act as liaison between Securitas & the client. Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, its assets, and personnel. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client''''s property and assets. Maintains focus and awareness while working in a stressful environment, which includes noise from alarms, machinery and people, crowd distractions, time pressure, in order to preserve the professional ability to identify and locate potentially lifethreatening situations and make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations. Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations. Conducts inbound/outbound package inspections. Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents or conditions following procedures established for the site and commensurate with their level of training. Qualifications Minimum 3 years in security account management experience. Class 5 non GDL (Graduated drivers license). Must have valid provincial Security Guard License. Ability to delegate tasks. Proficient in MS Office Suite. IE: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows operating systems. Photoshop experience is an asset. Working knowledge of security operations and procedures. Excellent organizational skills. Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports. Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols.
