This role is for an experienced General Manager who thrives in an upscale, polished dining environment known for premium food, exceptional service, and a refined guest experience. You will lead the full operation, influence profitability, and create a culture where guests and staff feel genuinely looked after. This position calls for strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of both the business and hospitality sides of a high-end restaurant. The Person Minimum of three to five years in a senior manager or General Manager position Background in upscale or fine dining service Strong understanding of private dining, special events, and banquet-style operations At least ten years of experience in food and beverage Solid knowledge of food costing and menu-driven financial controls Proven ability to supervise, train, and develop teams Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting Comfortable with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting Skilled in managing controllable costs and administrative tasks Able to handle pressure and difficult situations with calm professionalism Dependable, honest, and consistent in follow-through Flexible schedule with the willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects at once Passionate about exceptional food, wine, and guest experience The Responsibilities Create and manage detailed budgets Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff at all levels Communicate clearly and consistently in both verbal and written form Oversee all administrative aspects of the restaurant Lead and support menu updates and operational system changes Approve all scheduling and manage labour forecasts Work closely with other departments to maintain a positive, productive workplace Provide leadership to four to six managers and supervisors, along with a large hourly team Build a strong working partnership with the Chef and Sommelier Create and launch engaging and profitable food and beverage promotions What Makes This Role Exciting A refined and memorable environment Exceptional food, wine, and service standards A dynamic and active business with steady guest demand Long-term stability and opportunities for growth A professional culture built on respect and collaboration Opportunities for ongoing learning and career development The chance to be part of a highly regarded and forward-thinking organization An entrepreneurial team mindset with open communication Competitive salary and a strong bonus structure Out-of-Country Applicants: We appreciate your interest in our organization.
