Were looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in expanding Element5s project business across all market segments. This position delivers essential support, technical expertise, and proactive customer engagement, helping to establish Element5 as a trusted partner in the mass timber industry. Responsibilities Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share. Identify and pursue new project opportunities with architects, engineers, developers, owners, and contractors. Deliver client presentations, technical training sessions, and educational seminars tailored to project needs. Manage inbound sales inquiries and maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and reporting. Monitor regional performance, lead conversion, and competitor activity; share insights to inform strategy. Collaborate cross-functionally to align forecasts, promotional initiatives, technical documentation, and sales enablement materials. Support strategic planning, budgeting, and target-setting processes. Coordinate factory tours, product sample requests, and other customer engagement activities. Perform additional duties as required to support departmental and organizational objectives. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets). Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including senior decision-makers. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to support project discussions and negotiations. Proven ability to structure agreements, close complex sales, grow accounts strategically, and achieve or exceed sales targets. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities effectively. Builds strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams through responsive, professional service. Collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous learning in sustainable building materials and construction practices. Experience and Education 25 years of experience in sales coordination within manufacturing, building materials, industrial equipment, or a related industry; equivalent education and experience will be considered. Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Experience interpreting technical specifications, construction drawings, and project documentation. Direct experience with mass timber products or other engineered wood systems is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, including fabrication, installation, project integration, and environmental benefits of mass timber (e.g., EPD/LCA), is an asset. What We Offer!
