Join us, this is where your career story takes off. Overview of the role: Were looking for a senior leader to design, launch, and lead a bestinclass Supplier Performance Management (SPM) program. Reporting to the Director- Procurement Proces & Strategy, youll build the framework, drive supplier accountability, and create measurable business value through enhanced performance, risk mitigation, and aligned supplier partnerships. Youll ensure WestJet speaks with one clear and consistent voice to our most critical suppliers. Key deliverables include: Develop and lead WestJets SPM framework defining objectives, governance, metrics, and scorecards that translate performance data into actionable results. Deliver measurable value, achieving multimillion dollar savings and efficiency targets tied to corporate goals. Lead executive level supplier relationships and performance reviews, ensuring alignment to contracts, service levels, and improvement plans. Drive Supplier Improvement & Development Programs to strengthen performance and innovation in key categories. Identify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks to ensure resilience and business continuity. Own and continuously improve supplier scorecards, value creation tracking, and supporting tools and processes. Coach and mentor a high performing team to elevate stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and professional capability. Champion One WestJet Voice, fostering cross functional alignment to maximize value, leverage, and brand consistency with strategic suppliers. Experience and qualifications: 12+ years of experience in supplier performance management, SRM, category management, or strategic procurement. Post secondary or graduate education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field. Track record and proven success implementing SPM or SRM programs, leading supplier reviews, and delivering outsized and measurable performance improvements. Outstanding leadership, communication, and influence skills adept at managing change and engaging executive and operational stakeholders. Experience withS2PandERPsystems, performance analytics, and supplier governance tools. Background inaviationpreferred, particularly in technical operations or services procurement.
